Because the media is so against it. Do you ever remember a time when the media attacked a medicine before? HCQ is a treatment for some people, in combination with AZ. Remdenisvr is also a treatment for some people. Yet every treatment or possible cure is outright attacked by the media and leftists. Why do you think that is?

It's the going thing some leaders are pushing in areas of the world that aren't suppressing the outbreak well (here, Latin America, etc.) Where fear of the disease and criticism of governments are high, regimes are amplifying disinfo about it to blame medical leadership for suppressing a hidden cure to distract from media coverage of their own failures to run a competent suppression. In some places they're making it more widely available without good justification. E.g. Bolsonaro sacked a health minister because he wouldn't get in line with HCQ prophylaxis (which they've since made available) and several months later they've still got the one of the worst outbreaks in the world - 1500 deaths yesterday.

Because it is not the govts job to tell me what medicine I should take. Especially one that has been safely used for over 60 years. If President Trump had said not to take it, idiots like you would be screaming about him killing people. Oh that's right, you already do.

This premise was the cornerstone of dem platform for years. Then when you suggest it to them as a possible motive for suppressing HCQ they act like you are talking about lizard people.

This I agree with. Doctors can still give it off label though. There are no laws against that. If docs aren’t giving it it’s because they don’t believe the evidence is there to demand it.

Now the people attacking it must suppress any favorable coverage of it because we have entered the cover up stage where they are responsible for deaths.
Of course, Cuomo murdered thousands and he has a 60% approval rate so all you need is that D behind your name and you can get away with anything. A few thousand people dead because dems wanted this for a campaign issue is nothing, right?

Well, i say anecdotal, but that anecdotal is verified proof it worked for hundreds if not thousands of people.
It's only anecdotal because the media won't report it.
