I have no problem if people think this group was a bunch of terrorists. Just be consistent and apply that to Kavanaugh protestors or the goons who protested outside the White House last year and hurt 50 Secret Service agents (somebody in my family claimed the police response was like Tiananmen Square ).

OH the Jan 6 guys are getting railroaded and it's not consistent in any way. But they're not innocent and what they did was severe.

I'm not arguing about the hypocrisy and double standard. But to downplay what Jan 6 was is silly. It wasn't just "trespassing".

The left only cares about defendant's rights, due process, and civil liberties when one of their own is charged.

A BLM leader bombed the capital, served less time and was pardoned by Clinton

A first offender unarmed bank robber wouldn’t get more time than that in the federal system.

This is very true. He was one of the people leading others in to obstruct things and he did stuff like this:

Imagine supporting over 3 years in prison for this.

Then, claiming to be "Libertarian." Your LARP is up.

It's crazy that if he had just stayed home, drank 30 shots of tequila and killed somebody while driving home drunk he'd have been better off from a legal pov

He trespassed in a secure governmental facility, but that sentence does seem a bit harsh.
