The utter insanity of "following the science"

Daily I am amazed at how often Fauci et al change the narrative on Covid.
Ivermectin was horse medicine but now lets study it to find its effectiveness.
Vaccines will prevent you from getting sick, prevent the spread, and you no longer have to wear a mask. Oops we were wrong on all of that.
The vaccines are safe and have no side effects. Oops the Johnson and Johnson vaccine causes blood clots and has to no longer be recommended. Oops, myocarditis is "rare" with the MRna vaccines.
All you will need is one shot of Johnson and Johnson. Welll.. let bump that to two.....well lets stop recommending it because it is causing clots
All you need is two shots of Pfizer and Moderna....well now two and a booster....well maybe two and two boosters.....well now we are developing a new version of the shot so go ahead and get that one too.
Literally any type of mask will prevent the spread of covid....well now really only N95 masks do anything and the others are just face decorations.
If you are around someone with Covid you need to quarantine for 14 days....well maybe only 10 days....well maybe only 5 days now....
You could go on for days with these contradictions and outright falsehoods. So why do people continue to be so adamant and follow these snake oil salesman? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We're on like the 1000'th fool at this point.

I'm no Fauci fan. And yes there has been some BS spread, but did you really expect everything to be correct the first time? I mean, don't we adapt and tweak everything in our lives once we get a better understanding? Take women for example, is everything still true from the first time you met them?

They intentionally suppressed alternative treatments and are actively forcing Americans by law to ingest gene therapy injections that they admit don’t work. They lied about where the virus came from and how it’s development was funded.
This isn’t an “oopsey” situation here. Some learning is expected, but this goes far beyond that.

Fauci has knowingly lied, repeatedly, and his false narrative and discrediting of available treatments that wouldn’t line his pockets, have caused thousands of deaths. To say nothing of his role in developing and releasing this bio weapon.

There's a couple of problems with this.
1. When dealing with an experimental medicine being heavily pushed on the world's populace, you should test the living frick out of it first. From the day of creation to the beginning of rollout was under a year. Normal FDA testing takes ~10 years with just the first testing phase (animal trials) often lasting longer than what we saw for the entire testing period of these COVID vaccines.
2. When questions arose or problems were pointed out, those doing so were shouted down and there was a very visible push by most social media outlets to prevent anyone from ever hearing those critiques.
This wasn't a case of "expect everything to be correct the first time", it was "you are the enemy if you dare question it".
