I understand military mobility/countermobility operations at the tactical and lower strategic level since I did them professionally. You are calling for something that is unlikely to be practical in the first place from a simple asset level and impedes future mobility of out own military. These are just the issues on the military level.

100% from a tactical to mid-strategic level is was near perfect, too perfect in fact. We were so fast and so effective the top strategic thinkers stopped up because they were worried the optics of Highway 1 were so bad it would turn the stomach of the international public.
