The US Dems and Labour Still Dont Realize That Prog Lunatic Twitter Mobs Aren't A Majority

The sentiment last night about the total destruction of Labour revolved around people being shocked that the votes came in where they did even though Twitter/Social Media made people think that EVERYONE was supporting Labour.
This is eerily similar to the American Left/Media. They are literally crafting policy and governing based on lunatic progressives on social media and not mainstream America.
This will be eye opening for them in 2020.

Someone linked a news clip from over there last night and the reporter was literally a propaganda doll.

Twitter is to leftists what the TD political board is to conservatives but on a much larger scale.

Nothing new under the sun.
NYT film critic Pauline Kael famously whined in 1972 “How could this happen? No one I know voted for him!” with regards to Nixon wiping the floor with McGovern in a 49 State wipeout.

I am buoyed by this - When the BREXIT revolt happened, I began to take heart in the possibility that the mass population really WAS paying attention to principles rather than media-fed astro-turf hysteria.

Prog Lunatic Twitter Mobs Aren't A Majority
This has been what's amazed me the most the last few years. Social media have given the fringe, who everyone in the past has been able to ignore, a platform. The fringe is fanatical in their lunacy, and these platforms allow them to scream with the loudest voices. The group mentality and weak desires to follow trends brings people along for this lunatic ride, which is why you see so many look at this as a majority.
In other words, when you constantly have a group of people yelling in your face and you are too self absorbed to see the world outside of your immediate environment, you will perceive this to be the voice of the world itself.
The other problem is that over time this fringe lunatic group with their platform will influence enough people over time and eventually become a majority. Maybe that's the cynic in me, but I don't have enough faith in people to believe they will not fall in line. Too many are caught up in trends and being accepted in order to not allow this shite to corrupt them. This is why we have drug problems and shite like that in the world, and it's why it's inevitable that the future will be dominated by lunatics.
I pray that I am wrong

You are not wrong.

The best are US twitter idiots saying that the UK elections were driven by “racism”. The only “racial” component was the losing side trying to blame “the Jews”.
If anything the bigots lost this round.
But US leftists think anyone that opposes them are “racists” by reaction—not fact.

Twitter and other social media is turning out to be more devastating for the Left than anything we could have done

Sure you see this social media libs out in the cities, or in a Starbucks, or working in some cubicle.
What you don’t see everyday unless you drive across America is all the people out there. The ones driving the big rigs, down in the coal mines, building homes, paving roads, working a chemical plant or refinery, welding a pipeline, plowing a field, operating heavy machinery, working an assembly line.
Those Americans are forgotten because they work and go home to their families and care little about wasting time bitching on Twitter

The media does a really good job making it look like LIBS are a majority in this country.
Trump has made people realize that it's not true. They aren't alone.

What's going to be really "eye opening" is the people in the middle going full on Trump.
They can see what the dems/media are doing to Trump.
They may not agree with everything Trump does...but people in the middle (like most people) believe in fairness. They can see that Trump certainly hasn't gotten this.

Yeah, everything I got from UK media from Link TV before the election was: 'This is going to be a tight election. Very close.'
