The U.S. Constitution was specifically written to forbid this whistleblower B.S.

Sixth Amendment, bitches!
quote:

to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor

The media gets to spin this out of proportion because Trump's team can't show who the guy is, and why he would have no access to what he's claiming. It's just another in a long line of false allegations.

Produce the witness, and the specific charge, then let's discuss.

It undermines separation of powers and Executive privilege as well.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

I knew you were dumb, but implying that an impeachment is a civil, not criminal matter is moronic.

I feel no need to reciprocate with the childish insults, but impeachment is a political process ... not a judicial one. It is neither civil nor criminal.

I really hate when people use this map, it makes them look stupid as hell. There are still more people in the blue counties than there are in the red. A lot of that is literally empty land. I get the point, it just doesn’t do a good job.

Because you once again stuck your foot in your post, and got called on it.
quote:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Show me where the call for impeachment says it's a political process? And while we're at it, show me in the statutes where bribery isn't treated as a criminal act in any court?

Once again, impeachment is a criminal process, subject to the 6th amendment. Sorry for you lack of comprehension in that regard.
