But it is still the best nation on earth. No one can reasonably name a place with more opportunity, prosperity or collective power.
Whites have it better here than anywhere else. Blacks have it better here than anywhere else.
The masses a being manipulated right now by people that do not have their best interests at heart. Social media enables the aggregation of the absurd.
Shut the TV off, shut the news off...enjoy your life...because it is fleeting.

Exactly. I blame the media for most of this.
Telling American blacks that "cops are hunting their children for sport" only ends one way. Telling working class whites that they are racist, xenophobes who need to be culled from society doesn't bring us together.
The fringe of society doesn't deserve such a huge platform, yet time and again, the media gives it to them.

The media is just a message bearer for folks that see themselves as superior entities or beings. The media is a manifestation of the power base that cares not for any of us.
Live your life, enjoy your kids, enjoy the beauty around you, do something to help someone that can't help themselves, give someone an unwarranted gift...life is short, happiness is not derived from treating yourself per se, but serving others and enjoying singular moments in life.

Race relations were so much better when politicians and media pundits didn't constantly talk about it.
People could more easily perceive their human relationships individually. Today, I worry my black friends resent me because of the things they are constantly told about me by people on tv who don't know me.
