I don't care for Trump as person either, never have, but IMO he is the best option to handle DC the why I want to see starting 1/20/25 @ noonET.

People like Trump because he is finally someone willing to be outspoken. Sometimes people just want to tell others to "go f*ck yourself." Trump is really good at that. The problem is that he continues to step on his own dick and accomplish nothing. COVID tyranny happened while he was in office, brother. That's on him. If the election was stolen, which I think it was, that's also on him.

How? He was adamant about not enforcing a federal lockdown. He wanted the states to be responsible for their decisions. The ones that were heavy-blue killed economies. The heavy-reds made it through okay.
Trump's biggest mistake was not firing Fauci on day 1 but he trusted him. My guess is he didn't understand how wide that spider web was spun with corruptness.

Nothing wrong with saying Trump is undeserving of your respect or vote. Hard to disagree with those who think he's a poorly disciplined, low character guy in many ways.
Of course, whether there will be any alternatives that are of higher character and whether you're willing to sit it out if not are the related questions.
