Articles of Impeachment have been filed with the House, voted on and approved. That is not "impeached".

What? That is definitely what “impeached” means.

Impeachment is analogous to indictment. It doesn’t require conviction by the Senate to say that the President has been “impeached.”

I agree with the first part. The second part depends on how the next four years play out.

Not sure I understand the question. Are you saying that Andrew Johnson wasn’t impeached?

Since it is now just a formality done when the House is the opposing party of the sitting president it will be used by the press as an opportunity to use the words 'historical' and 'unprecedented.'
IE, a NYT story in 2040:
"In an historical vote yesterday the House impeached President Bill Z. Bubb for an unprecedented 68th time in the last 3 years."

Lack of the sarcasm font. I'm just chuckling at the people trying to rewrite history in here.

They have turned it from something serious to a harassment tool.

you mean like when repubs impeached Clinton?

I don't think anyone said that Nixon's impeachment was wrong.

I can name crimes that Nixon and Clinton committed while in office. Can you name crimes that Trump committed while in office?

I thought impeachment was a joke when Clinton was impeached. I know he lied under oath.. but, every other person over the last 30 years seems to have lied under oath..and nothing happened to them. By targeting Clinton, it seemed too selective.

I dislike laws being selectively used or not used, for political purposes. Like how Biden used an obscure law to target Flynn. Even though every administration-elect before and after trump's administration-elect communicated with foreign countries...and it wasn't ever considered illegal.

like calling people belittling names, lying, and believing everything is a conspiracy against you.

Same thing. Stigma is gone - it's our new normal.

It’s now easier to impeach a president than it is to give the citizens back a little of their money. Congrats lib/prog filth. You are fricking morons.

Its also easier to push through a Supreme Court Justice who will just say no standing lol.

Correct, but he resigned because he did not have enough support from Republicans to NOT be impeached. So, I do believe my point was valid.

Of course, the Dems did not feel the need to impeach him after he left office...

Correct, cried wolf way too many times. Unvarnished ignorance at it's finest.
