Might as well be. NYC is lost forever. This guy won’t be able to enact everything he wants but enough to frick that place up for a lifetime. It’s a shame it used to be a great city to visit.

Correct, but he's gotta be the favorite to win in November. Adams has a low approval rating. I'm wondering if Cuomo runs again as an independent

People will stay away in droves. NYC will become East Berlin before the wall fell. Communism doesn’t work. It will be North Korea vs South Korea economically. Watch the financial institutions move. Chronic shortages, nobody will want to visit.

They better hope like hell that Adams wins or the Big Apple will be the Rotten Apple.

How does the city with the most wealth and largest capital markets in the world pick a socialist for the democratic primary?

This definitely has the feeling of one of those situations where they’ll be begging to get rid of him in four years.

How ironic if the financial hub of the world is run by a socialist.

He had already filed the paperwork before the primary, even the grim reaper knows the Democratic Party is fricked.

If he’s a big enough pain to the people who really run that city, he won’t make it that long. Physically

Why do you care who NYC elects as its mayor?

It has no bearing on anything anywhere else.

He isn’t a socialist. He is a Muslim and he will implement the Sharia law in NYC. Nice job NY… welcome to the 6th century.

The actual election is going to be a shitshow. Republicans and Jewish dems may vote for Adams just so Zohran doesn’t win.

Also the blacks

I'd love to see new York city wide government run grocery stores.
Utter failure. Shelves will be largely empty, variety of brands, etc will be non existent, lines will be long.
