Hes had the chance for 8 years and absolutely nothing has changed at the local level where i live.

We have fewer freedom coalition types in congress than when he took office in 2016. Its astounding.

He either doesnt care, made a deal to leave the GOPe alone or doesnt think he has the juice to make it happen for whatever reason.

Theres a 4th option but Im not ready to go there yet despite the Epstein/Iran stuff that hes controlled opposition as well but that simply doesnt line up with what hes done with the rest of his agenda so I dont think its really worth considering IMO.

frick you

You expect him to change the minds of these pieces of shite?Fundamentally dishonest pieces of shite will never care about anything other than their self-interest.

The Save Act has 80% support and they still do nothing.

You people whine every time he bluntly speaks the truth.

He is doing something about Iran - Oh my God!

Your post is un-fricking-believable.

You sound like the Jews in the Bible who constantly bitched about Moses (don't care if the story is real, it illustrates that there have been perpetual whiners for millennia because someone wrote the story that long ago).

The voters in the country do not deserve a decent president.

TRUTH ALERT - List for us the EIGHT years he has had to fix everything. By my count he has had 5.

AND - muh Echo Chanber -

I was speaking with regard to control of the functional aspect of the GOP.

Can we agree Trump is the leader of the party at this point and has been for some time?

His daughter was the co-chair of the national GOP apparatus.

My point is and remains that the party is not nominating for national office people who vote for the AF/campaign MAGA agenda and is still run comprehensively from the county level to the state and national level by people who obstruct Trumps agenda at every turn or do you disagree?

Case in point.

I was speculating as to why the party apparatus hasn’t been taken over by MAGA, do you have thoughts on that or are you just angry at anyone who questions anything which might even indirectly not be 100% positive in your mind?

Again, I was hoping by now Trump would control the GOP because I would view that as a positive thing and he clearly doesn’t yet here you are attacking me for bringing it up.

Its all just pro wrestling now. It's all show and not real and we the people do nothing about it because we keep voting the same people and parties into power.

The people need to wake up and vote everyone in out of office.

They’re not idiots. Idiots implies incompetence

They know exactly what they’re doing. They don’t care and are shoving it in our faces. I’d argue they’re smarter than most considering they manage to ignore their constituents yet still re-elected

No word on the Save Act.

I'll give you the word on it:

It's dead.

Even with maximum outside pressure applied on the GOPe-controlled Congress from the outside and within, they absolutely refuse to pass the SAVE Act or treat it with any seriousness or lack of urgency. They're stalling long enough to throw the midterm elections and lose the House, so they can complain about how Democrats won't pass the Act. Most idiot voters will believe it too. They've got almost the entire country believing that the current gov shutdown has been about ICE funding when, the fact is, ICE was already fully funded until 2028 in the OBBB.

I'm afraid you're right.

Kennedy tried to deflect with the reconciliation stunt, but we all know none of them want to pass it.

It would end the Democratic Party as we know it, and the GOPe can't possibly have that.

How else would they fundraise?

We're getting election integrity/security in the form of Voter ID and ensuring only American citizens are voting one way or the other.

Either the SAVE Act gets passed, or Trump pulls the curtain back on what happened in 2020/2022 and requires it on a national security basis via EO.

I'm not concerned about either.

Same, but it still infuriates the living shite out of me how useless they are.

Has anyone here ever met a politician? Not your local city council, but i mean like a federal or high ranking state politician?

If so, then it should not surprise you at how weak, immoral, deceitful, and corrupt they all are. They build their entire lives around a fake persona. These aren't real people. They don't have real lives. Their families are a construct to portray themselves a certain way. There isn't a genuine bone in their weak muscle-less bodies. They don't have morals, ethics, or standards. They can't. Their entire job is figuring out how to win the next election, and they will blow anyone to ensure they maintain power.

And why do only the ghouls of society become politicians? Because any normal good person detests that sort of job. What sort of person wants to make their job, begging people for votes?

The only surprising thing about all of this, is that the entirety of the left and some on the right worships politicians, and looks to them like heroes.

Politicians, like actors, are liars, gypsies, and whores. Maintain that mindset and you'll never be surprised by their spineless nature.

Yep. Comfy af here.

Either way the libs are fricked. Trump will make sure we have honest, fair elections no matter what. It’s part of the reason he was voted back in. Everyone knew 2020 was rigged, and Trump has all the proof he needs.

There's a very real chance that we get both: Senate refuses to act on SAVE America, so Trump issues EO.

Dems literally can't even, so they sue against EO. Trump drops 2020 hammer during SCOTUS proceedings. EO upheld.

In the wake of the thermonuclear blast that is the 2020 election theft being exposed, the American people demand SAVE America Act be resurrected & codified. Bill passes with 9/11-type bipartisan support because Dems/RINOs don't want to be murdered in the streets.

America wins.

Yeah, if the Senate won't do the right thing here, the next best thing is to do it via EO and have it run up the chain to SCOTUS so they can finally give clarity on the issue of citizenship requirements (and proof of said status) for voting in our elections.

Still yet, it should be codified into law - obviously. It's never a bad thing to demand these legislators do their fricking jobs.

Trump is nearly 80, doesn't have to worry about re-election, is generally performative and will likely be dead within 10 years. Fallout is meaningless to him.
