So the room the perp went in was supposedly a gym. Some guy made a good point to have a magnetometer before the gym door.

If you guys want to see the bullet casings then travel up to the FBI building in DC and ask their evidence tech if you can see them. You act as if you are owed seeing the evidence before the jury does.

Oh, FFS.

Pirro said there’s no evidence it was “friendly fire”.
If the agent wasn’t shot with a shotgun in the chest then it was friendly fire.

As for your other nonsense, yes, in the past USSS Agents would’ve been patrolling or sealing off areas. Now they can do it by video surveillance, if anyone had been watching the feed that already existed they would’ve questioned what he was doing.

If you can’t look at least at this and Butler, and conclude there’s serious issues then you have your head in the sand.

The video I saw had the guy running past the first post and disappear from view.

It looked like the guys shot and missed their target, but you couldn’t see where the perp was.

Apparently he was captured by agents off camera seconds after he disappeared from view.

The perp never got to the level Trump was on. How far he needed to go and what obstacles to his progress haven’t been disclosed to my knowledge.

But yes, all threats like this need to be investigated and procedures adjusted if necesssry.

You can see by the reactions of the guys in the video that he was stopped just off camera. They are pointing and looking right at the dogpile. You can it in the video. All this talk that he made it past the checkpoint is foolish. The due was in a full sprint so of course he was gonna get passed it unless they had a couple sumo wrestlers standing there. But the plan worked because they had enough people at that checkpoint to stop him. All you see in the video are the guys who were running the mags. You don’t see the other agents working the checkpoint.

I wish the shotgun muzzle blast showed up.

Would it help to know that:

- some shotgun shells burn powder more completely?
- in bright light, muzzle flashes are less likely to show on video?
- longer barrel length allows more complete powder burn?
- modern smokeless powder is manufactured to minimize flash?

I knew all that. We were trying to determine what officer was shot at the time.

I’d put money that any gun owning poster goes at least 1/5

Maybe so but that gun owner posting this isn't in charge of protecting the president.
