The cop has been charged with wanton endangerment for firing 10 rounds. If you have a semi you can go through 10 rounds in a few seconds. If someone has already shot at you it really doesn't matter.

The officer's own statement is that no shots were fired until after he entered the residence and started down the hallway. Bass posted an excerpt from his statement on the other thread.
