The reason why immigrants come here (the ones we want anyway)

Obviously there are the undesirable ones that come here and cause problems
But the main reason that productive immigrants seek a life here is because of opportunity that is granted in a largely capitalist society. Why is it that the socialists can't comprehend this? If immigrants recognize the upward mobility and opportunity that our society provides, why do they believe that there is no social mobility among the existing underclass?
I've seen numerous arguments about how many immigrants and refugees eventually become net positives to the treasury because of the taxes they pay. Why does this seem like an impossibility for the native born citizens in the underclass?

Here’s the issue....we don’t have enough food and other raw material resources to support a higher population
Let me give you an example: immigrants come here and will begin demanding products, where will the resources come from to meet this new demand?
We can’t just magically increase food, lumber, iron ore, rubber, plastic supply
Those are finite resources that are already depleting quickly
Iron ore is going to be gone from the world in less than 15 years

Parmen is what Trump would refer to as a very low IQ individual
He could think it out for the next month and still say something stupid

The immigrants that we want to come, the competent law abiding ones have not been brainwashed that they should be given everything like our lower class.
These frickers want to work to succeed.
However, they HAVE to go through the legal process that exists to weed out the others that bring no value to our country.

Yeh, Elon musk was a net drain on our national resources. I'm sure you have out-produced him as a natural born American.

you certainly didn't take too many high level math classes in school.
Or been to a hospital in the last 40 years for that matter.

The market.

Good thing the labor supply will be increasing in your example.
[We have a massive surplus of resources that we throw away and pack into the ground, release into the air and water, and we are a massive exporter of food. We're not running short here.]

I beg to differ. In the Permian right now there are thousands of Mexicans and Cubans making six figures driving trucks and doing whatever they can to earn some scratch to support their familias back home (FL, LA, TX, NM, etc; not Home home).
Give an immigrant an opportunity to work and most will take it. You just have to catch them BEFORE they get hooked on the government teat. Hispanics have a lot of pride and a hell of a work ethic. Not all, but many.

By 2015, Elon Musk had taken 4.9 billion from US Taxpayers

Just why do you think that these people have any capacity for voting against the same politics and system of government they are moving away from?
You would think that asians fleeing communist and collectivist Asia and are the epitome of productivity and working their asses off would be voting for the party of capitalism and free markets and yet they vote democrat at a absurdly high clip.
We already see it with other americans in yankees from up north and the west coast moving to the south and midwest and eventually voting for the same policies they ran away from in the first place.

I'm your only upvote by the way. I think your point is not getting across due to your history of retardedness.

Oil was supposed to be gone by now and we just keep finding more - which makes more plastic. We can grow a lot more food, but might have to cut down some trees. Ever flown and seen the number of trees? We haven’t hit the limit yet.
That said, I don’t really want more people. Too crowded for my tastes already.

Here are a few names for the list of not only productive but extremely productive immigrants
Sergey Brin - co-founder of google
Albert Einstein - Probably the most famous "smart guy" in history
Elon Musk - One of the most forward thinking business minds in the country
Jerry Yang - founder of Yahoo
Andy Grove - co-founder of Intel
The Patel family from India created a multibillion dollar valued motel empire here
Those are just a handful of the extremely successful. There are millions more that are productive middle class workers and among them many small business owners that help stimulate the economy and create jobs.
Parmen is less than worthless

Not a phrase you see everyday
I bet those guys have some killer burritos for lunch each day. Homemade tortillas stuffed with asada or chile verde.
