What causes this? This phenomenon is maybe 15 years old? I don't recall such a growing number of them. James Talarico, Hasan Piker, Graham Platner. I know there are others. Their views are off-the-wall crazy in most cases and some will openly admit they want the U.S. to fail.

My question is, how are these people being elected to represent the Democratic Party? The three above are all running for Senate, so it is a statewide race. Is this the best they have, or is it a matter of Soros type funding to dress them up a center-left candidate? If people are voting these people as their candidate, knowing their real views, this country is in trouble.
God help us.

Constant pressure on American values and culture. the Dem party is the anti American party. They seek the destruction of America, its constitution and the values and norms within the society itself.

Their party has moved left. Do you think the average rank and file Democrat disagrees with whatever silliness Mamdanis is pushing in NYC? Newsflash, they do not. Their party has become centered around racial and gender grievance and “free” stuff.

I expect the next cycles will be like 2016-18 was for Republicans where the moderate mask is dropped.

The far, far left is a minority but they're funded better than anyone else, so they have the loudest voice in the room. They essentially threaten everyone else to get in line or they'll get primaried and boom, they're done.

The politicians that are more centrist on the Dem side just get in line to protect their job.

I threw 15 years out there just based on a guess. It has nothing to do with who was president then. These are congressional races.

If they win their election, then great. If they lose, they become an activist or start a podcast, and money rolls in from far-left groups.

I'm not buying this, at least at this point. There are so many stories of people leaving the party because of what it has become. It's a shell of the party JFK was part of.

There has been 30 years of indoctrination starting in elementary schools through college and backed by Hollywood types and mainstream media.

Thirty years ago the Dem party had the vote of the workin' man. They started shifting toward expanding 'benefits' for those who didn't want to work. That cost them union votes. So, instead of reversing course they just went full blown socialist with 'we'll tax the rich man!'. That way you don't need to work. The govt. will handle it all. This message has sold primarily with women voters. Most men understand that the math just won't work out.
When I was a kid women didn't understand the math either. But they were all married and voted like their husband. Today, they aren't getting married.

Is it? I think people here generally do not interact with rank and file democrats.

The liberals have dropped the mask completely. They are as far left as it gets now. God help this country if they get a majority. We will be the new UK.

There is a mental health problem in the united states.

These idiots have had nice lives where they don't have to worry about their basic needs for survival to be met.

Instead of accepting this, they reject it and look for some reason for their existence.

They find some battle somewhere and can see nothing but their single issue for existence. They vote for fellow crazy people.

The simple reason is the majority of lefty democrats have mental heath issues.

The old school libs that we might have occasionally found something in common with are dying off. They’re being replaced by “progressives”. Who are just commies without the balls to call themselves that.
