What causes this? This phenomenon is maybe 15 years old? I don't recall such a growing number of them. James Talarico, Hasan Piker, Graham Platner. I know there are others. Their views are off-the-wall crazy in most cases and some will openly admit they want the U.S. to fail.
They represent the mainstream of the Democrat party these days. Believe that or don't, but it's the truth.

Their party has moved left. Do you think the average rank and file Democrat disagrees with whatever silliness Mamdanis is pushing in NYC? Newsflash, they do not. Their party has become centered around racial and gender grievance and “free” stuff.
And beating Trump, no matter what insane leftist policy that involves supporting.

Shift of the Overton Window. We are just bit players in all of this theater. Have a right winger elected immediately counter with a far left winger. The shift has been happening since at least the 60's

I threw 15 years out there just based on a guess. It has nothing to do with who was president then. These are congressional races.

This is the plan from soros and the WEF
This is the correct answer. They have filled governments around the world, from local to national, with graduates from their “future leaders” program.

They are trying to normalize it...talk about their plans openly until people are desensitized and many are deceived.

The far, far left is a minority but they're funded better than anyone else, so they have the loudest voice in the room. They essentially threaten everyone else to get in line or they'll get primaried and boom, they're done. The politicians that are more centrist on the Dem side just get in line to protect their job.
Sounds like their counterparts across the aisle.
