Jesus, you’re dumb. You think an entire age group is against deporting illegals because of housing prices? Step away from politics for a month, bro and go live in the real world for a little time.

You are retarded.

Men (55%) are more likely than women (45%) to support removing undocumented immigrants from the United States. Generationally, majorities of Gen X (53%), Baby Boomers (52%), and the Silent/Greatest Generation (54%) support mass deportations. In contrast, a majority of Gen Z/Millennials (54%) oppose this action.

There aren't 150 million illegals. That would be almost half of the US population. Also, WTF are you talking about regarding the housing market? There might be a drop in occupancy among low end apartments, but there would be a negligible impact on the number of single family homes for sale. If anything, it might make the labor market tighter and increase the prices of new homes.

Boomers are getting old. If the sell it is to downsize or to fund going into a home.

Boomers are more likely to stay where they are because the thoughts and stress of moving weigh more heavily in their decisions than the housing market

As I said they are old and will likely be moving into assisted living or a small home with seven day a week nursing care.

You need to start picking on the next generation.

I know of no Boomers who don't want illegals deported.

That's probably true but you must not know 60 and 70 year olds from the Northeast or Pacific Northwest.

Boomers are the only one's in the NE and PNW who don't want illegals deported. It's pretty much the entire populations of those regions who want them to stay, unless you drop them off in Martha's Vineyard. Then they'll call out the National Guard to have them removed while telling them how much they care.

Pretty sure there are liberal and conservative boomers. Just change your rant to liberals and you cover all the age groups.

Everybody's blaming Boomers, but the politicians are the ones that did it.

All Boomers did was stand by and watch it happen, not really comprehending the full ramifications. They acted as every other generation has, the possible exception being today, when it appears every generation has finally woken up.

I have gone from being blind in 2016 to eyes wide open today.

But I think the main resistance to this are boomers because they know with mass deportations = mass drop in housing prices, it would crash the housing market due to the demand curve shifting with millions of less people here
agreed, I've had the same thoughts about this for a while. chances are definitely would have a hit on real estate prices.
