It's estimated that almost 30 million of those aborted babies were black, or biracial at least. (Abortion is credited as the reason the black population hasn't grown very much in 40 years) I personally know 3 different white women that got pregnant by black dudes and they got abortions.
And it's probably close to 70 million now. 60 million was the number several years back.

Slavery in America is rightly remembered as awful because so many slaves survived it. Their survival and eventual freedom enabled the collection of first hand accounts and created a large community of former slaves who could pass down their stories. You don’t hear about that happening anywhere else.
