The reality of modern panhandling

Most of these people are able bodied bums who don't want to get a job. Yes, there are a few that are mentally disturbed or physically unable, but the majority just want to mooch.

we don't have that many where I live, being a real small town and all, but I keep a stack of McDonalds job applications in my car for these jerks.
About a week ago I had one actually kick the side of my car putting a big dent in it because he was angry that I gave him a job application rather than some cash.
I stopped the car and got out and this little punk steps up like he wanted some. I just pushed him aside , grabbed his little box he had his money in took $200out and said "that should about cover the damages" jumped back in my car and drove off.
I couldn't believe there was so much money in his box.

Wanna piss them off, give them packets of Ramen whenever you see them. My dad used to do that and he would get a kick out of them cursing him out and throwing them back at his car.

Last week there was an episode of the Federalist Radio Hour podcast that discussed the San Francisco homeless problem. The reporter spent time with homeless people in SF, interviewed them. Most were pretty up front about choosing to be homeless and refusing a lot of the aid that is extended to them, simply because it's conditional. They don't want to have any conditions attached to any aid given to them, like going to 'meetings', which i assume are AA/NA meetings, or being accountable in any way for anything. They just want free shite with no strings attached, and in the absence of that, willingly live on the streets. The narrative that these are people who have had hard luck and have been forgotten by society is, for the vast majority of them, completely false.

Besides some severe mentally ill people and a few other extremely rare situations, no one -- NOT ONE PERSON -- is homeless or hungry in this country, except by choice.
There are obese people who have never worked a day in their lives and they have a home, food, cars, etc.
