There is an excellent documentary on Netflix called “The Windsor’s”. People who scoff at interest in the royal family should watch it. It’s a look into how the British monarchy survived two world wars when all major European ruling houses were toppled; especially considering that the Windsor’s were German.

The interesting aspect of the Harry/Megan saga, for me, is a man turning his back on his family and a 1,000 year institution for woman with a less than stellar resume.
