Yeah, it's always considered racist to point it out, but the privilege is real. Hollywood, media, government, banking. That's why it was such a freak out when people started putting the parentheses around Jews names online. The numbers don't lie.

I won't make any judgments about what it implies, but hearing Jews ranting on television and the front pages of newspapers about white privilege is ridiculously hypocritical.

I gotta ask. My dad (with Jewish mom, Cajun father) always said: 'If you ask a woman what's bothering her they say 'oh, nothing' and you can tell they're lying.
A Jewish woman will tell you what's bothering her before you even ask.'

Have you experienced that?

FYI, this is not just confined to the women. Jewish men complain constantly too (As do I). I have a theory that the behavior is somehow related to the fact that Judaism has no mechanism for the forgiveness of sins other than death leading to the need for practitioners to “vent” their frustrations in the absence of any real possibilities for redemption.

They are very outspoken. Her mom recently visited. Between her, her mom, and my 6(4 girls) kids, I stayed drunk for a week.

I have dated Jewish girls seriously and been pseudo member of their families. Nothing but good experiences. So I never understood antisemitic attitudes until I worked for a company in which I was the only non-Jewish middle manager. It was the most horrendous experience of my life. Like being in an abusive relationship. Awful. They treated me like absolute dog shite. It was straight up mental abuse - and my two bosses seemed to get some sick pleasure in tormenting me. That was 2016 2017 and then the SJW and nonstop attacks on American values and on Trump came heavily from their ranks.

My opinions have... changed somewhat. It’s important to not lump everyone together though. Some of the most pro Trump people I know are Jewish. And they really love America in the exact same ways that we do.

I get that statement, but fail to see how it is a race.

The Jews have been very protective of their culture, that's how they've survived, and that's meant largely marrying within the tribe.

Conversion was either undesirable, or unwanted, for most of Jewish history. And there were practical restrictions, to be a Jew, you mother had to be Jewish. Matrilineal descent.

One of the great revolutions of Christianity, was opening up Judaism to people who weren't part of the tribe.

It's also fair to say, the people we think of as Jews now, are the people who didn't convert, and didn't go completely native. They're the people who did continue to marry within the tribe. These are the people who have worked the hardest to preserve themselves.

Agree.

If you judge an entire group by the worst person in that group,

then you are the worst person in your group.

The biggest, culturally, would probably be the no longer keeping kosher, changing the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, and introducing the concepts of both forgiveness of sins while still alive, and an afterlife.

Judaism has no afterlife, and death is the only atonement for sin. Sin makes you mortal.

Isn't that the argument between the Sadducees and the Pharisees, whether there's a resurection?

folks who believe in education, work hard, take care of family and community, and pass wealth down through generations are privileged.
