We've had higher amounts of flu patients and didn't crash our hospitals.

Weakling. You’re going to destroy the village in order to save it. This has been building. I don’t think we’re so sheep-like to allow this to go on much longer.

So, you're assuming a nearly 100% contagion rate?

Well you see if Michael Bloomberg came down with it and coughed on every single person in the U.S....

The mortality rate is only that low because everyone can get care.

Huh, that's not what the data shows.

Most of the people are dying when they do get care via the hospital... the hospital is basically worthless with this. The vast majority are dying if they go to the hospital, and 95% are dying if they hit the vent. Care has absolutely nothing to do with it, unless we are talking about care... in an effort to not have to go to the hospital.

The goal should be the ones most impacted to self-isolate... hopefully come up with treatments to avoid the hospital. Going to the hospital is basically a death sentence.

not sure you understand. The issue is not the death rate WITH the mitigations. The issue is what will happen if we don't take these steps you are complaining about.
The number you need to look at is the percent of people who require intensive care to survive and recover. That number is astronomical. If the ICUs get overwhelmed you have Italy. Understand?

When was the H1N1 outbreak, 2009? I do not recall mass hysteria during that time so why is this any different? Both extremely contagious yet day to day operations continued during 2009.

You can shut down schools, businesses, local & state agencies and tell people to stay home all you want. When it's your time to go, there is nothing you can do to stop it.

I am not going to lose any sleep over this flu virus nor am I going to lock myself up in my home, curled in a fetal position and live in fear. This boomer ain't gonna do it.

I bet the soy boys are now wishing they had spent more time working on being a man instead of hanging on mommas teet.

I wish they would just create stacks already so the elderly could have a young body to recover in.

So do you think that Steve Bannon and Tucker Carlson are conspiring to take down Trump?
