Ukraine needs to surrender; no reason to prolong the inevitable. NATO will not get involved; aid they need will not come or even be effective (air power), and Russia will continue the march because they can’t stop now. Why would they leave a festering wound of hatred with a semblance of an army.
Save lives, save your historic cities, cede the east of Ukraine, cede some (or more) autonomy…. It’s all coming anyway.

Ukrainian paramilitaries are abducting and killing officials viewed as insufficiently loyal -- with tacit support of the government.
If this were happening in Putin's Russia, it would be the #1 story in America.
But we stay silent about the murders, because it's our ally.

Vladimir Struk, mayor of Kreminna (Ukrainian-controlled part of Lugansk oblast) was found dead (shot through the heart) after having been abducted by men wearing military gear. He had been called a separatist and traitor by Ukrainian media for his pro-Russian position in 2014.

If you say so. And I sure DGAF if any Russian collaborators are killed. If you care so much you can send their families a Hallmark card.

Invest in defense companies now. DC has found it's next money pit once the fighting stops.

Hit squads on fellow Ukrainians as the country is being invaded. This war has it all I reckon.

Russian forces have surrounded the port city of Mariupol, which is on the Sea of Azov. Outside of Mariupol, the Russians now control all coastal areas of the Sea of Azov. Russia is strangling Ukraine's access to the seas. Also, Russian forces are linked from Crimea to Donetsk.

There are photos online. His wrists are bound with duct tape.
It looks like he was tortured, and then killed.

This was Russian land until Lenin rewrote the territorial borders in the 20s. The mayor probably saw himself as a Russian, like most people in the region.

Reg seems to be ok with war crimes.

Funny when people who propose to care so much about justice and life can completely dehumanize "the enemy".

90% sure this is the Mayor who was literally filmed painting targets on buildings in his own town for the Russian strikes. Trying to help the enemy kill members of your own town as they're being invaded, doesn't get much lower. The Russians would be justified to do the same if the roles were reversed, imo.

The grunting neck beards here would just call it Ukrainian propaganda and deny it.

Just went and found the videos of the reporter confirming the encircling and pointing the barrel directly at them while checking their credentials and vehicles.
Takes nuts to keep filming.

Several Russian warships have left Crimea and are heading to Odesa. An amphibious assault on Ukraine’s third largest city could come as soon as Thursday: U.S. officials

Probably was trying to make sure they hit a government target instead of an apartment building. Lots of gray area in war.
