There’s a reason Russians started marking their tanks,
Yeah it's because Ukraine and Russia are operating the exact same type of tanks. A modernized Ukrainian T80 looks just like a modernized Russian T80. A modernized Ukrainian T64 looks very similar to a T80 Russian or Ukrainian. A modernized Ukrainian T72 looks similar to a Russian T90 or exactly alike a modernized Russian T72. Russia didn't mark its tanks because it did not want people to confused their tanks with the Azov battalion. Russia did it because it did not want its soldiers or worse its aircraft from mistaking Russian tanks as Ukrainian tanks and having to deal with friendly fire.

Ummmmm, i can't even Timmy....you're telling me the literal Russian propoganda feed controlled by the state of Russia is reliable and not filled with propoganda?
For now take everything you hear from their side, add it to our what you hear from our side, and divide by two.

It completely amazes me how some posters on this thread over look how corrupt the U.S. media is.
Russian media AND the MSM of the U.S. are both corrupt.

They have already won in some respects. Their entire military complex is largely destroyed. That’s probably why they took it off the negotiations. Now, I think Russ wants to destroy Azov. I believe they will take leadership prisoners after they move in to Kiev while they wait on more forces. They may end up leaving western Ukraine alone after all this is over. But they have to know the US will be right back there within a few years setting up shop again, so that makes me think Russia may take the whole thing, but we will see
Russia wanted to win invade and force Zelensky to flee then Russia could use him fleeing as a reason to impeach him and the pro-Russian members of the Rada would go along with it. They would then hold rigged elections and elect Yankovich or another Russian puppet as president. They were also planning on a quick victory with little damage. Russia planned on being able to convince the Ukrainian army to lay down their weapons and then keep the people in check once the new government is in place. This would also allowed Russia to achieve its goals and get Ukraine in check before the effects of the sanctions kicked in. Russia could have then negotiated a settlement with a puppet Ukraine and then there would be no reasons for the sanctions. However, the Ukrainian army did not lay down its arms and the idea of a quick victory or a victory without any damage is dead. Russia is going to have to destroy all of or at least major parts of Mariupol, Sumy, Odessa, Kharkhiv, and Kyiv. Any pro-Russian puppet government will not have the support of the Ukrainian people so Russia will have to keep troops in Ukraine as an occupation force. That will be expensive in addition to the costs of rebuilding Ukraine. Russia cannot afford either or those. That is assuming that Putin is able to hold onto power and keep the Russian economy from collapsing until after they destroy eastern Ukraine. So Russia might destroy Ukraine but it is going to lose in the end. It is just a matter of time.

It would be like a Russian Nato existed and they began to add members. Then Mexico joins and they have missiles on the southern border. Remember the Cuban missile crisis? That Is how Russia feels.
Have you ever heard of the Warsaw Pact. It was the Communist version of NATO. Russia dominated the Pact, but all of Eastern Europe was unit including East Germany.
The Warsaw Pact fell apart when the Berlin Wall came down and all the East Europeans got away from their Russian masters.
Now some of these countries are in NATO because they wanted to be in. Should Russia have the right to invade their neighbors who distrust them because the Russians are so warlike? I don’t think so.

It’s politics. It’s done through pressure, coercion, blackmail, threats, money, or whatever other shady crap we see happen in this country. The US is hell bent on expanding their influence through their massive power

I think most people on here would agree with you. Not many or possibly no people are defending the MSM media. They are just shocked at people accepting Russian Media as gospel.

My whole deal is to shred the bs coming from our corrupt politicians and the media’s propaganda, most of which is to protect these corrupt politicians. Politicians are completely out of control. The media is running cover for all of them, and collectively they are all getting rich as hell selling out the country and its people. Putin is a thug, but I hate everything I just talked about far more. The disdain I have for media is bordering on unhealthy. I blame them for all of the chaos and destruction that’s been happening for the last 10 years. If they just held politicians accountable we wouldn’t be in the ridiculous mess we are in now, across the board on every major topic that is destroying this country. Every one of these frickers is getting more and more emboldened. It’s a free for all of corruption.

Too early to see if the Ukrainian army lays down its arms without an urban fight. Russians are isolating major cities and leaving humanitarian corridors open. Anyone including troops can exit the corridor but none can leave with heavy weapons. Once cities are isolated, lack of food and ammo is a major motivator for laying down weapons, abandoning unit and leaving via humanitarian corridors. It is too soon to see if these tactics will be successful but time will tell. Russians feel these tactics will conquer the cities without heavy urban fighting.
I suspect certain troops such as Azov will not be allowed to use humanitarian corridors.
PS: These are basically same tactics used successfully in Syria. LINK Video describing these tactics.

Tell that to the East Germans, Poles. Hungary, and the other countries who lived under the boot of Communist Russia.
I guess that was our fault too. I guess tanks didn’t roll in Hungary. I guess civilians weren’t shot at the Berlin Wall

I'm smart enough to realize that it is possible to believe that both the MSM and Russian media are BOTH full of shite. Apparently you are incapable of holding two thoughts in your head at the same time
I’m perfectly capable of that and I stand by my comments that the Ukraine and US side is worse by many factors. 80 percent of what is reported and the rhetoric I see on US media isn’t even close to reality

The truth is there was never a Communist Union, it was the Communist taking over countries and controlling them.
And if you think our system is like their system you are wrong,
If you believe big government will eventually get too big, erode away your rights, and freedoms then yes I agree. There is a real danger in that.
