Today and everyday for the foreseeable future America will buy 600,000 barrels of oil from the butcher #Putin

Lets stop buying oil of #Russia and replace it with oil we produce right here in America

First footage I have seen of Hostomel Airport. Is that the AN-225 hangar?

I have said it before and will say it again. Putin isn't a good man.

But if you think that Ukraine govt is innocent it is only because of the media lying to you. Z is a horrible leader and has shown that by what he has done to politicians in his own govt since the war started. Very Hitler like since that is the standard now. But his dictatorial atrocities against his own people just don't fit the narrative, so are ignored.

Yeah we're gonna need you to re-read that post then try again.

And are you saying you're against citizens trying to fight back against an invading army?

Well I thought the Russian army was severely weak, under performing, surrendering, low morale, and etc. if the Ukrainian army can easily defeat them, why do you need to sacrifice your civilian population?

Thought the convoy was stalled due to resource shortages and low morale? Again, if the Ukrainian army and ghost of Kiev are shredding 5k Russians a week, this doesn’t warrant using literally last resort tactics! You send out grannies with Molotov cocktails to fight a professional army at the very last resort of defense!

I don't know what he's saying but, WRT this issue of whether private citizen civilians should take up arms and fight an invading army - It is a complicated issue with pros and cons on both sides.

Sure it's heroic and most often is the right thing to do. On the "Down Side" however are some very negative consequences that arise from that kind of "partisan/guerilla warfare". Atrocities are more likely to happen. That makes it difficult to make peace.

Civilian buildings and facilities that are not being used for military purposes are off-limits and should not be attacked. When civilians engage in partisan warfare, there are NO "civilian buildings" because every civilian home is a potential barracks and ammo dump for the Partisans.

So, I don't know what's the right answer. I probably lean towards the side that says Zelensky should NOT urge the civilians to fight the Russian Army. He should tell them to put white flags out of the buildings that are civilian buildings containing no military assets. When the Russian Army arrives, send the Mayor to meet them and discuss terms of Occupation Law and allow Russian inspection teams to inspect buildings to ensure that they contain no Partisan guerilla fighters. This is probably the better way, although, sure it does seem like surrender, so, it is distasteful.
