Crooked Judge and Prosecutor. Whole case politically motivated by the Dems to keep Trump from campaigning. I will be surprised if he is not convicted. The trial is a set up from the start. So many errors it is TNTC. I have no faith in a NYC jury. Look what the justice department did with the Jan 6 people getting 20 years and the liberal protesters are not even prosecuted. I do not have and answer other that voting but that is scary cause so many Americans are uninformed and continue to get their information from the liberal press. With the Biden record how can you possibly vote for him and yet close to half the country will.

If Trump is found guilty and SCOTUS doesn't step in and end this BS, Brandon will spend the rest of his life in courtrooms and hopefully prison.
The pendulum swings both ways. Everyone involved is a traitor to the United States and should be tried as such.

ForeverGator you have said some stupid stuff on this board, but this is your all-time low. Even if he paid the slut, that isn't a crime. It happens all the time.

don't forget two lawyers that work for this very same prosecutors office were caught with molotov cocktails during the Saint of fentenal Floyd riots in 2020 and spent less than 24 hrs in holding and were not charged with any felonies nor disbarred.

We can look to the fair trials in places like the Soviet Union, China, or North Korea and see where the verdict is headed.

It will be a sad day for American justice, but at this point there is no way that Trump isn’t convicted of a crime.

Guilty. They have to get one "guilty" out of all these bullshite cases or they'll really look foolish. Of course it will no doubt be overturned on appeal but they get their "Trump found guilty" campaign talking point headed into the election.

I'm not sure exactly why you chose to reply to my post...I don't disagree with any of that, but it doesn't have much to do with what I posted.

You know exactly how/why that will happen.

1. Trump has been the most polarizing figure in politics maybe of all time. Some people love him like a cult leader and some people hate him like a demon. And it's not hard to understand why. He's crass and belligerently antagonistic to anybody he deems his opponent or rival.

There's a group of people in the US who fancy themselves put upon by "The Establishment," and Trump is the best champion/spokesperson they could ever dream of. He embodies not only many of their sentiments and paranoid feelings, but their preferred primitive and crude communication style as well, and they see him as their personal champion and defender against the "Establishment." So that group loves him like a cult leader.

The people he's continually raising the middle finger to obviously hate both him personally as well as the way he conducts himself.

Watch the movie Caddyshack. Ted Knight plays the "Establishment." Rodney Dangerfield plays Trump. It really is that simple.

2. Half the country will not be voting for Biden. They will be voting against Trump.

I obviously hope he wins. But people who never get outside the echo chamber seem oblivious to the fact that it's going to be close even if he does.

The question is how many hung juries would it take until they gave up?

I imagine every new trial will help out Trump in the polls tremendously, and the Leftist echo chambers will see it as an amplifier shielded by their bubble ignorance.

It's the usual paradigm that the left is a lot better at politics but they can't help themselves and overplay their hands leading to a scaling back

Considering the huge bump in the polls, Bragg would be told to not bring the new trial or else he'd have a sunroof in his skull.

Beautiful analogy.
