I don’t get the obsession with race when it comes to dems.
Who fricking cares what color you are as long as you are doing the job correctly.
Then this Shelia Tyson local Birmingham council or county rep thinks she can predict the black vote just because she is black. She sounds like she has it in for Mayor Pete. I’m sure she wants a handout. I’m so sick of this crap with these people

She may be right to a degree... the black community and the gay community don’t get along well.
Hence Prop 8 in California, which likely went over the top there due to high black turnout to put Obama in office in 2008.

Their philosophical foundation is based in the victimization of identity politics. You can't swing a dead cat in a Democrat convention without hitting someone who is a member of some group who claims to be victims of some other group (usually rich, white, male and Christian, or some combination thereof).
