I am not very concerned with their factual errors - these are easily rebutted and they are forced to at least correct the record.
Where they are most deleterious to the nation is in their choosing what to NOT report. They ignore all good facts - or if forced to report them at all, they have a panel of 'experts' to explain away the 'causes' and predict the 'impact' of said good facts.
They are truly nothing more than propaganda outlets for their political agenda. Without their supportive propaganda, the DEM party could not exist = ask yourself how the DEM party could continue with its "errbody is raciss" mantra without the willing support of the national media.

The media has become the propaganda arm of the Democratic (Socialist) Party. Most of the US media are inaccurate in their reporting, which is actually their opinion, and only their opinion, devoid of fact and full of outright lies.
Why would I trust the opinion of a propaganda ministry populated with the like of Don Lemon and the other gender-fluid jackasses on CNN? frick these clowns, I'm going with the guy who is actually trying to make America great again. Employment is up, jobs are coming back to America, the stock market is at record highs, consumer confidence is up, illegal immigration is down, and ISIS is all but done. Yes, Trump is making good on his promises, and he's just getting started. So far, job well done, and without any help from the lamestream media.

The only real check to the media is much more of a free market check, where they hopefully lose consumers of their bullshite. The reason the fake news and bias continues is that there is a large enough segment of the population who will continue to consume their bullshite, regardless of it's veracity.
I want to see a real check. Federal and state governments have no problem regulating the shite out of the Second Amendment, and a person can relatively easily lose their 2A rights. Lets see the purveyors of lies and propaganda lose their press credentials. Lets see news organizations that employ too many, or have "journalists" with too many proven lies and propaganda instances lose their press credentials.
I know this is a slippery slope, but the truth is, there are no real consequences for doing what fake news is doing these days. There has to be a way, beyond hoping their organization goes broke, to punish these people for blatant lies.
Freedom comes with responsibility. At present, the freedoms the press enjoys, comes with no responsibility whatsoever.

A large % of the Population who vote Dem DO NOT LISTEN to "Right Wing" News Organizations. And a lot of these are smart people who would - if forced to examine objective evidence - see the light.
That is why Sessions, OIG and what is left of the HONEST Intel Bureaucracy should gather DOCUMENTATION which can be presented as irrefutable. Then the real draining of the swamp can begin. The self-delusional hardcore Left will scream, but about half of their otherwise ignorant constituency will be neutered by the truth.
