I KNOW they are tough, but how are they supposed to respond to being assaulted or attempted murdered by likely citizens within our own borders?
Can they fight back? Kill the bastards? Detain large crowds?
I'm *glad* they're going, sad they have to and worry that they won't have the tools or permission necessary to enforce peace.
Before every deployment the Marines train on how to conduct crowd control. They have it down pat!

Marines are accustomed to getting shite done. Now they have to stand there and get verbally (and possibly physically) attacked while not responding.
