I KNOW they are tough, but how are they supposed to respond to being assaulted or attempted murdered by likely citizens within our own borders?
Can they fight back? Kill the bastards? Detain large crowds?
I'm *glad* they're going, sad they have to and worry that they won't have the tools or permission necessary to enforce peace.

I think most of us are confused at what they can lawfully accomplish and worried about sending them out to a situation they aren't lawfully empowered to handle in a way that ensures their own wellbeing as well as the rest of various law enforcement.
I don't know how this works. I know they can handle themselves beautifully, but Lawd I don't want to see them jammed up for doing so.
