This was an opportunity to keep promises and follow through on what they have always campaigned on. They had no interest in pushing the agenda, and they paid for it tonight. The Turtle at least got two USSCJ in there, but Paul Ryan did absolutely fricking nothing other than the tax cut.

frick those assholes. The majority could have been safe, despite the "odds" dictated by traditional voting trends.

Ryan and his cronies are cowards. If they care about anything it’s being liked, and keeping the money flowing into their pockets.

They passed tax reform and the house passed healthcare reform (although it wasn’t very good).

What else were they going to pass that would have impacted these elections?

Trump shares blame too.

Continue to ignore the message coming from suburban women at your own peril.

This is spot on. Those frickheads had 2 years to come together and get real shite done. Atleast the senate was able to get 2 SCJ in. And now with a bigger control margin, hopefully will get a chance for 1 or 2 more.

I actually think Trump is more to blame than anyone else. He has been the face that got dems to the polls to vote against the GOP, not anything the senate or house did policy wise. Republicans may be disappointed with their efforts the past 2 years, but i hardly think the majority of Americans pay that close attention

Naw, this was still a severe case of butt rash over Trump smacking that Hilldawg azz. It’s ok, I just want the Prog/Dim leftists to keep being who they are, I think everything is going to be fine for 2020.

Are these the same women that helped us toss out multiple sitting US Senators?

And still lose. I swear these never trumpers are the biggest losers this nation has ever seen. I mentioned earlier that Ryan should have never been allowed to retain the speakership once he announced his not seeking election. Huge fail on GOP leadership. We needed a fighter in there, and had a cuck.

Nice scapegoating.

Of course the house actually passed bills. The Senate is where bills went to die.

And of course, Trump is blameless, right?

Or even better, somehow he gets credit for stopping the blue wave and Ryan is responsible for the losses that do happen. Amirite?
