Not only will their power "last", the pendulum you speak of is fixed in the left position. It's not swinging back. In fact, it will only move further left. And this "accountability" you're talking about. Who's going to hold them accountable? Donald Trump?
Liberalism and Progressivism runs this country now and its grip is not at all fragile or tenuous. It's firm. Everything that matters in American society, they now control.
They have our courts, our Federal bureaucracies and the Pentagon. They have our Service Academies. They control Federal Law enforcement and our Intelligence Agencies. They have control of our Urban Centers. They control all aspects of the mainstream media (sports, entertainment and news). Minus Twatter, they have the entirety of social media. Liberalism even controls Google. But most disturbingly of all, Liberalism controls higher education in this country and that's where we lost this decades long culture war.
They won, we lost. All we can do now is just watch it all unfold.

Please extrapolate upon the "buzzwords" comment.
Oh, and the shite happened. I have very vivid memories of being wrapped up in one of those big sectional "floor pads" things that they put on the gym floor when they're making you do exercises in P.E. class, and being placed on the stairs to the upper level of the old gym and pushed down them headfirst like a fricking bubble wrapped missile. I remember being shoved into my locker and they padlocked the outside and staff ended up having to get the janitor to come cut the lock off and let me out, and the superintendent made me go straight back into class with tears still rolling down my face and "stop being a pussy". That dude had forearms like Popeye I shite you not, and if you ever got swats from him you never did anything to get swats from him again.
Wanna know what it was like being the weird kid from SoCal suddenly planted in the beating heart of redneck Oklahoma? That's what it was like, and I'm better for it. frick your "didn't happen".

I guess what I intended to say is,(they don’t deserve it) because they are abusing the authority they currently possess, they will eventually lose it. I believe that we can all agree that what’s happening is unprecedented. To what extent does this end? I don’t know! However, everyone sees it. These abuses of authority will be challenged at a higher level, appellate, USSC. They will be shown to be wrong!

Looking back at my HS days the top basketball and football players had the best looking girls. A few got college scholarships, majored in PE and never got drafted. Not one. They became overweight PE teachers.
OTOH, not a single baseball player on our team at Centenary majored in PE. Most were Business Adm. Some were science or math majors. They all made good money after college.

Which makes her points kinda ridiculous since the people "making the rules" graduated from high school before she was born or soon after.
Also I thought all these losers and outcast she refers to nowadays only got liberal arts degrees and worked at coffee shops.
