The longer this "shutdown" goes on, the more it crushes the leftist narrative.

First, Leftists lit their hair on fire warning of dire consequences if the deadline for the government shutdown passed...on SATURDAY before CHRISTMAS when the government was shutting down anyway. Nobody gave a frick. Life went on for everybody.
Fast forward to now. Schumer is saying we must re-open the government and then we can negotiate. Why? People are going about their business as is there is no government shutdown, because it doesn't fricking affect any of us. The longer this goes, the more people will say "what do we need that for in the first place?"
Keep if up, dems. Keep fighting them, Grand Cheeto in Chief. We are behind you, and applaud your willingness to say "frick you, I was elected on X and that is what I will do."

Wouldn't it have been easier to do with republicans in control of the house?

Isn't like 90 percent of federal workers Democrats? Pressure on Dems if that's the case

If we have gone about our business without being impacted by this for two weeks now....it’s likely that the employees that are shut down weren’t actually necessary or essential to begin with.

Didn’t the republicans controlled house submit a bill that funded the wall?
I think they did!

2/3rds of our national government shouldn't even exist.

I have to hand it to Trump. I think he might have the upper hand on this shutdown?

Not according to Trump

Why yes they did
It was DOA in the Senate because it was never going to get the 9 Democrat votes necessary.
Hell the Democrats even rejected Trumps proposal to allow 3 times the number of DACA people permanent residency if they funded the wall.

Communists are the best at manufacturing a false flag when its needed though.

I want these bullshite agencies spread out over decent sized cities in flyover country. Our federal employees can live like kings for modest salaries in places like Memphis, OKC, Kansas City, and Detroit.
Strategic Withdrawal of Agencies for Meaningful Placement Act. SWAMP Act for short.

If 90% of those affected by shutdown are Democrats then I seriously doubt they would support the government shutdown over their checks.

I can't wait to see what happens when a large part of the dim's voter base doesn't get their eitc over the next couple of months.

I don't get the whole.."They won't get a paycheck for months!!! What are they supposed to do??"
I don't know...maybe get a part time job? Thats what Joe Sweatsock has to do. Why do these government flunkies think that the taxpayers owe them money to live on?? Get a job.

Federal employees actually have to receive permission to get a second job (just like military).
Posted on 1/4/19 at 2:32 pm to SoulGlo
Literally the only effect is federal workers aren’t going to get a paycheck. Granted that really sucks if you live paycheck to paycheck but other than that no one cares about a shutdown. The only people bitching are those that are on the government dole.

If the Rs of which you speak weren't on the same side as the D's, yes.
Take your simpleton glasses off, Pman. You used to be better than this.
