I guess you missed his first term and the clear theme of America First, with one of the the strong economies and job markets in this nation's history, decreased taxes, decreased regulation on business, energy independence, lower gas and consumer prices, a banging stock market and people with 401(k)'s killing it, better trade deals negotiated, peace deals brokered, no new wars, a closed border and ICE deporting illegals etc etc etc... That is until halfway through the last year of his first term when COVID hit, which he had no control over.

How many thousands of hours of Trump tapes are out there? Has there ever been any hint of a lisp before last night?
One of three things are possible:
1) Trump has always had a lisp and has been able to hide it until now.
2) Trump doesn’t have a lisp and it was something to do specifically with last nights set up.
3) Trump has recently had a major medical event that is being Biden and now has a lisp.
Since the audio from the room he was in was clean (no lisp) I’m going with it was something on the audio set up.

are you demanding Kamala answer these questions? Currently, she has no policy positions on her campaign website and she is talking up Trump policy at her rallies. She sure as frick wont do anything to end the war in Ukraine, control inflation or the deficit - and no sane person would accuse her of having any substance.

Except that he demonstrated substance for 4 years, and we were better off as a country. I didn't like all his policies but as a total package he was a helluva lot better than what we have now.

All radio stations had that back in the 60s. We called it a stabilizer. It was designed to immediately reduce the volume of sudden loud sounds (like screaming into the mic). It didn't make your voice sound lispy. It just moderated your shouting.
