There IS a way we already know. The democrats did nothing with this information. You can be sure that, were Trump's name in the Epstein files in any substantive manner... not just "hitched a ride on his plane to New York or Mar a Lago" that the dems would have run with it years ago. Balls to the wall run with it. But you know this already, and are simply being a disingenuous hack.

Oh, in the same way Trump’s admin could have skewered Clinton, and other political opponents that probably appear in the files before the end of his first term. Love that logic.

What the Epstein files likely represent is a political atom bomb, and with Biden not releasing followed by Trump not releasing we are witnessing a policy of mutually assured destruction in action. I say let it fall. Take every corrupt, depraved pedo in the files to the woodshed.

Some excerpts from the article shown on that guy’s tweeter…whomever he is:

quote:

In May, Bondi and her deputy informed the president at a meeting in the White House that his name was in the Epstein files, the officials said. Many other high-profile figures were also named, Trump was told. Being mentioned in the records isn’t a sign of wrongdoing.

The officials said it was a routine briefing that covered a number of topics and that Trump’s appearance in the documents wasn’t the focus.

They told the president at the meeting that the files contained what officials felt was unverified hearsay about many people, including Trump, who had socialized with Epstein in the past, some of the officials said.

quote:

One of Maxwell’s lawyers, David Oscar Markus, confirmed the discussions and said, “We are grateful to President Trump for his commitment to uncovering the truth in this case.” Maxwell has been seeking to have her conviction overturned, contending she didn’t receive a fair trial.

Not exactly some hit piece article against President Trump.

For shits and giggles I flipped to to CNN and MSNBC.

Both are focusing on the WSJ article.

I am surprised they took the time to cut in to the wall to wall Tulsi coverage.

from this article

"The officials said it was a routine briefing that covered a number of topics and that Trump’s appearance in the documents wasn’t the focus.

They told the president at the meeting that the files contained what officials felt was unverified hearsay about many people, including Trump, who had socialized with Epstein in the past, some of the officials said. One of the officials familiar with the documents said they contain hundreds of other names.

They also told Trump that senior Justice Department officials didn’t plan to release any more documents related to the investigation of the convicted sex offender because the material contained child pornography and victims’ personal information, the officials said. Trump said at the meeting he would defer to the Justice Department’s decision to not release any further files."

I read the entire article. It was an interesting read. The emboldened part sorta stands out.

I'd like to know more about the heresay and hundreds of other names.

It’s another classic example of the left forcing one to prove their innocence while the right is busy proving guilt of others.

Which one aligns with “innocent until proven guilty”?

IIRC, buttlick, Trump announced within the first 6 months of first term that he would not go after Hillary because it would be bad for the country.
With the way he and his family have been treated the last 8 years I reckon he is going scorched earth and is taking scalps. No mercy.

Often lost In the shuffle is that Epstein was involved in a lot of university research circles.

According to some accounts that I have read, many of these scientists would show up at various functions within their universities, and he would be there. No subject matter expertise, no funding - nobody knew why he was there only that he was authorized to do so.

Earlier reports that came out after he was arrested indicate he had his finger in a lot of university research pots, so it's not unreasonable to conclude that there could be hundreds if not more of people in the academic community who would be named as attendees at these various functions, but not necessarily implicated in some manner of wrongdoing.

Weak…..this is old crap we all heard before and is meaningless……

If Comey had any evidence on Trump we would know it….

The WSJ even admits in their article it is previously known crap and is meaningless and they dont release info unless there is a charge….
