You realize you're adulating a parent who is going Karen on their adult son's college for assigning books they haven't read. And you somehow think that reflects poorly on me.

You miss the heart of the matter cubbies. Were the teachings before the DEMs went hard left damaging our children. Cause there is evidence now that the teachings of today are dangerous

You’re crying because a parent wants to be in their kids life and wants the best for them. You’re quite literally trying to tell someone else how to parent.

You’re the Karen of all Karen’s. You’re the type of Karen who would snatch a ball out of a kids glove in his birthday then try to fight an entire section of people over it.

4cubbies... what is the magic age you go hands off of parenting?

Also- did you consider that OP was offended above and beyond his/her son was taking that course?

For evil to succeed... good parents must shut the frick up once their kid starts taking college courses.

Look it's all about union teachers at all levels.

Well except private schools.

All that matters to 4dummies.

Marxist professor = waste of time to read it

Due to the 1964 Brazilian coup d'état, where a military dictatorship was put in place with the support of the United States, Paulo Freire was exiled from his home country, an exile that lasted 16 years.

Too bad the US military doesn't still forcibly remove Marxists.

Paulo Freire critically examined Western civilization, particularly its role in perpetuating oppression, cultural domination, and environmental destruction.

A Marxist pushing more "White man bad" BS. Shocking.

not crying at all. Genuinely shocked that a parent would brag about micromanaging their adult son’s college education. The adult son is guaranteed to resent this parent very soon for this complete lack of confidence in the adult son.

I will continue to raise independent children even though this board now believes that is a bad thing and it’s best to have adult offspring rely on their parents to make every decision for them without the adult offspring’s input.

How will I ever recover from this…

All the while you’re trying to micromanage someone else parenting their kid.

You do not have nor have ever had the right to speak for someone else’s child.

You continue to conveniently ignore very important factors that have been said by the parent in this thread in an attempt to confirm your bias. I would suggest you go back and read the thread again but I know it won’t matter whatsoever. Congrats on your fricked up kids that you think are normal.

The US military is benevolent. Just ask anyone posting in this thread.

Says the clown that's terrified of tanks in her streets.

Which didn't happen.

You know more about this than I do. I’ve never had anything to do with a teacher’s union but your continued fascination with them is still noted.

They will thank their child for not becoming a POS like you because nothing shocks your “enlightened state”.

Honestly I’m only surprised she hasn’t attempted to compare this situation to parents mutilating their kids genitals. It seems like the line of logic she would align with.

What factors? The son hs autism? If he’s high functioning enough to get into college, why would I assume he isn’t able to comprehend what he reads or respond to literature?

It's the people running your "Christian" college. Change schools.
