I do not forget but there are times and places also. My dad was a Korean vet. Watching Mash on tv they made jokes and was cute but war is not cute nor a joke.
I just do not like the politicizing of the Olympics. To me it just ruins things for citizens of the world and the great athletes of the world. I did not care for the boycotts and all other demonstrations of political ideals at the Olympics.
just me.

Good for Pence to not buy in to the MSM/Olympic circle jerk regarding North Korea. For the casual Olympic observer it would seem North Koreans have been liberated because Rocket Boy let his sister out of her cage for a night. Massive world stage so what does NBC do to help oppressed people of NK....frick all, that’s what.

Why won't Pence leave Adam Rippon alone? It's obvious he doesn't want to speak to him.

Politics (from Greek: p???t??a: Polis definition "affairs of the cities") is the process of making decisions that apply to members of a group. It refers to achieving and exercising positions of governance — organized control over a human community, particularly a state. Furthermore, politics is the study or practice of the distribution of power and resources within a given community (this is usually a hierarchically organized population) as well as the interrelationship(s) between communities.

Is anybody watching these Olympics? I watched less than ever 4 years ago and don’t expect I’ll watch at all this go round.
Speed skating has been my favourite event since I was a wee lad, but because of the uppity Shani Davis, I won’t be watching that either

Pence embarassed America last night. disrespectful of his hosts. Leave your homophobic and hateful ideas home. A great opportunity to show class and he sits. If North Korea and South Korea would be able to lessen the danger of war great. However, it goes against the agenda of his boss.

Wtf are you talking about? Where was he protesting gays last night?

He may have embarrassed a few pussies like you. But he certainly didn’t embarrass the United States.
He certainly didn’t embarrass Otto Wambisr’s father who was sitting next to him.
People like you suck. You’re fricking disgusting.

I would disagree as there are many forums to show disgust and I really dislike doing so at an Olympics.
I feel like this. The spirit of the games is supposed to be non political even though I know this doesn't always happen. I think by now the whole world knows where we stand on North Korea standing would not have changed that. If it had been me I would have stood out of respect for the athletes competing.
That being said it doesn't bother me that he didn't stand.

Don’t stand for the American flag because muh freedom of speech.
Do stand for N Korea veiled attempt for unified Korean flag because respect their flag.

Leftists complaining about decorum are hilarious given they have been attacking it in all forms for at least 5 decades, even publishing guides on how to ruin thanksgiving dinner for everyone else.
Now if nice people think he should have been polite that's one thing but leftists are just looking for an excuse to whine.
