I think I have read where Albert Einstein didn't really sleep but took 20 minutes naps ever so often. Does anyone know Elon's sleep patterns (not counting the dozen or so children)?

He apparently invented a legal process to become the wealthiest person in the world.

Ah, the passive aggressive crap.

I’ll admit to your point about explaining the downvotes. Valid, and I accept that.

You’re still an a-hole, though.

Isn't it more important who owns the companies that invented so many important things? The ones who criticize Elon couldn't develop a successful lemonade stand.

Nicolas Tesla invented almost everything. I really think he invented free energy too. He created a Tesla Coil in Colorado that apparently allowed electricity to be generated from the ground or something. He then recreated it on the east coast but lost his financing when they realized what he was doing. It went the way of the fire proof paint, rubber that doesn’t ware out, the 100 year light bulb, the German fuel formula etc. The government actually suppresses over 200 patent applications a year for national security reasons.

We, (me included) are getting played

Nikolai Tesla didn't either, depending on which version of history you believe. Sometimes it's the person that brings the idea to the masses that gets credit.

This is the typical progressive MO.

Remember, it is not the job of the progressive to build anything, only tear it apart.

What they are doing is projecting.

Yup. Got our wires crossed, and I assumed the worst.

Should never come here angry, but these people just flabbergast me, and their vote counts the same as anybody else.

Universal suffrage is so overrated.

SpaceX is the most amazing company of our lifetimes.

It's not even close.

Elon Musk is basically the modern version of Nicola Tesla who didn't die under mysterious circumstances only to have his life's work confiscated and then "lost" by the government while his body was still warm.

Elon and that brain, and the potential that he wields, still scares me a bit, but at least for now he is definitely on the right side of history and has firmly rooted himself in what is best for America. We are damn lucky to have him. Want proof? Imagine the "god-status" he would be given if he offered his services instead to China, Iran or Russia.

He most certainly did not start Tesla, read his book, but he did make it what it is today. A simple google search can tell you the history...

Space X is his true baby.

No lies detected !!

I have a next-door neighbor who has echo'd the exact sentiments you've stated. All I could do is smile and nod my head while she raddled on.

All of these are easy indicators to TDS infection. Wish there was an easy cure but the best thing is to stay away.

Outside of Zuckerberg, and maybe MLK, every single one of them would be a hell of a lot better at running DOGE.

The fact the Musk was a liberals hero before endorsing trump shows they stand for nothing.

Google "What did Leonardo Da Vinci invent?" Do a little reading and tell me if you think the inventors don't deserve a little bit of the credit for changing the world instead of giving all of the credit to snake oil salesman.

I think it’s the dismissiveness of the amazing accomplishments Musk has done.

Inventing is extremely rare. Innovating in a manner that Musk has done is even more rare. I can’t think of a single person who matches him.

Remember that 10-15 years ago Trump, Musk and Robert Kennedy were all democrats.

The Democratic Party has given up on being genuine except for Fedderman who I disagree with mostly, but he represents his constituents and not an agenda from California that his voters don’t believe in.

You think Da Vinci didn’t develop his market? He was commissioned by some of the wealthiest families of the Renaissance and actively worked to define his own expressions as he pushed the boundaries of his patrons’ acceptance.

If anything, you’re making my point. He was one of the most brazen voices of his time.

You’d be better off arguing a case like Van Gogh, who sold exactly 1 painting in his lifetime but now has an entire museum dedicated to him.

Thing is, his brother Theo was his primary patron and promoter, and was largely responsible for what Vincent became after his death. Again, the promoter made something memorable from the work of the artist.
