You think marriage is a made up concept?

Do you subscribe to anything in your Bible or taught in your church?

Lady you really need to start being more precise with your words.

Made-up means not real or fabricated.

Do you deny the existence of legal marriages? Don you believe only Catholics get married?

Do legal protections provided by marriage only apply to Catholics who get married by priests?

What does the Catholic church believe about marriages between two non-baptized persons?

I spent my evening at the ballpark watching a bunch of 9 and 10 year old boys play a made up game called baseball. I held a bat. I threw a ball. Yet those things didn’t exist for most of history.

I don’t claim marriage only exists for Catholics. You made that claim. Can you defend it?

You are a Catholic. You had a sacramental marriage correct?

From Webster:

"Made-up" is a versatile phrase that primarily means fabricated or invented, referring to something that is not true or real, like a fictional story. Depending on the context, it can also describe someone wearing facial cosmetics (makeup) or, in UK slang, feeling incredibly happy.

Now please, in the future, be more specific when you are choosing your words. Especially ones that encompass the thrust of your point, regardless of how asinine it is.

Let the thread die as it should.

My marriage has no bearing on whether or not marriage has existed since the dawn of time or even since the earliest humans.

This thread is getting increasingly and needlessly personal.

Jesus Christ elevated marriage to a lifelong, sacramental covenant between one man and one woman. He taught that spouses become "one flesh" and declared, "What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19:6).

You don’t think money or corporations or government or capitalism or the Constitution is real?
