Figures can’t trust you panthers. Longnecker field is cool and all until you’re getting eliminated from the playoffs in the freezing cold.

Just another example of people sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong. The south has far less racism than these so called liberal utopias up north. Rural folks of all colors are by far the nicest people on the planet.

Yep. Just your friendly reminder that this isn’t about a flag, but anything Southern as well as anything that demoralizes the south. You pro- flag change people think this ends with a flag change?

Both of those flag options look better than the one they have now.

You're dead on. This really has nothing to do with the state flag.

True but keeping the Confederate battle flag in the design is just a losing proposition these days

The Magnolia Flag (original flag of the state):

How Georgia of them

That “original flag” was adopted in 1861 and was used officially until 1865. I honestly hope they choose that flag and no one notices

The bicentennial flag looks like they took the flag of the Netherlands, turned it upside down, and stuck the state seal on it.

I believe the end game is attacking Christianity. They go after religious symbols and houses of worship and the gloves will come off.

I do too, but if they go after Christianity before November, that’s the end of Biden and their movement. Far too many Democrats and blacks are Christians to stand for that.

Magnolia flag is my favorite. Bonnie blue star, and update the tree to not look like a child drew it.

The Magnolia Flag is awesome, the Stennis Flag is generic as hell.

Would look better if it were just the magnolia flower vs the tree

Bonnie Blue Flag,

Oh frick sake! The "Bonnie Blue Flag" is the flag of the West Florida Republic.

quote:

The Republic of West Florida was a short-lived republic in the western region of Spanish West Florida for just over two and a half months during 1810. It was annexed and occupied by the United States later in 1810 and subsequently became part of eastern Louisiana. Wikipedia

The Republic also included Mississippi,Alabama, and the pan handle of Florida and because it included a portion of Mississippi is why it would be on the state flag. Doesn't anyone know their history?

The magnolia is a good idea to have as the flag but the execution looks ridiculous. Update that and I’m on board. Otherwise the Stennis flag looks nice.

Agreed. It looks like they went with someone who knows nothing about graphic design instead of a professional doing it. Like one of those dumb things where kids submiit their ideas and that’s what they use.
