It’s a way to directly and straightforwardly describe/explain a point that is not centered around the topic of one team versus another. But that you took that and that alone from my remarks is typical, identify a simplistic trope within a more complex topic or point, and render the conversation down to just that. Well, you’re not very discrete in that regard and furthermore it’s a pitiful trope anyway.
If you’re that determined to achieve a win, from your perspective, we can just stipulate that any future exchanges between you and me would result in a win for you. Would that possibly free you from the chains of desperation?

Lack of self awareness is a humorous matter to start with? That’s my point. You’re forcing a laugh at something that doesn’t even qualify for laughter.
It’s like, let’s say laughing at someone who you don’t like for being audited for something he either did or didn’t do. You’re getting your emotions mixed up. You may be extremely satisfied by the situation, but finding it hilarious is among other things quite bizarre.
