And that’s why I say it’s 100% political. It’s clear it was as it was all rich and affluent men taking part. We also have the narrative that all men are rapists circling back around by the liberal fats.

Epstein referred to himself as a political bounty hunter. There are, therefore, going to be elements of this that are tied at the hip to politics and it is not possible to separate the two. That doesn't mean that it should just be forgotten. That's fricking idiotic reasoning

I did not wish to take part in this topic at first. Your stance is the same stance my wife has. To an extent, this point is correct. Most of what I know, and admittedly it isn't everything, most of the "girls" were over age of consent and they all knew what they were doing.
This of course does not mean all of them were and where exactly are the ones who were under age of consent at the time? Have any of them come forth?

There is exactly nothing in the record that establishes this as true. This is a claim people use to try and justify heinous behavior. What we have in the record is that 250+ of the girls exploited were underage. 250+. Now, if "most of the girls were of age" then that would mean his total number of victims would be north of 500 girls. Could it be true? Sure. But there is nothing that establishes this narrative in the record.
And even if it were true. If there were more than 500 exploited girls and therefore "most of them were of age", do we just say "frick those 250+ that were underage?!" Of course not.
Again, this narrative of "most of them were of age" is a frickin insidious plot device meant to give people a chance to dismiss heinous fricking crimes perpetrated against children. Don't fall for it.

I’ve already acknowledged most of them were under the age of 18. Also acknowledged that even of age doesn’t mean they’re not victims of trafficking. I still hold my point that from my point of view “most” and when I say “most” women willingly participated it’s from what has been released. Even as someone has pointed out the girls even thought Epstein was charming etc at first. It doesn’t mean he isn’t a sick pos who wasn’t trafficking girls. I also know most of the details we will never get is because of settlements from these “victims”. Again I can deduce that there were benefits beholden amongst those who participated, legally or not. I will also stay firm that this has and to this day is 100% political.

By age of consent, I meant between the ages of 16 and 18. I also admit to not being the biggest expert
But everything you posted is a valid point.

One is a recognized hoe on this board, rightfully so, and the others are “victims”, because it’s political.

Some days, I am truly astounded by how absolutely stupid some people are on this site.
Today is certainly a day.

Even this is fricked up. Statutory rape laws obviously exist for a reason. If a rich-as-frick 50+ year old man manipulates a 16 year old girl the law is rightfully written to treat that instance as if the 16 year old girl is a child. No different than if a high school teacher is fricking a 16 year old girl. It isn't going to matter what the age of consent is because the law views that as a situation where that adult has influence over that girl who is not fully developed. Being mega-wealthy and 3x older than the victim is going to rightfully fall in the same category.
As I said, this is an insidious narrative people are using to justify heinous behavior and it is absolutely disgusting. Furthermore, the victims were as young as 14. Or even 11 according to some sources.
And also, to reiterate, girls were reportedly frickING MURDERED. We don't even have the full scope.

quote:That makes them compensated victims, not non-victims. If I get pickpocketed on vacation and my buddy covers my expenses for the rest of the trip and even buys me dinner, did I somehow stop being the victim of a pickpocket? Compensation doesn’t retroactively erase what happened to you.
They got paid, got gifts, and traveled back and forth in luxury. You tell us.
This is basic logic.

Nobody is justifying any heinous behavior and we have no facts. Some of us prefer to have facts and live in due process. There are facts of girls benefiting and settling though so take that fwiw. You also can’t say it’s political but not, it’s 100% political and you’ve even admitted to that. It’s being held up politically so we don’t get facts.

It's called the silver or lead proposal and you'll likely never find a better example of one.

So have a tizzy for saying the same thing I did
Posted on 10/2/26 at 2:21 pm to DeBoar
There are like 3 million pages of facts released. Saying we don't have facts on this matter is retarded.
Posted on 10/2/26 at 2:22 pm to BoarEd
So where are the facts of the murders? Again I’m talking present not future of what’s happening.

quote:“Silver or lead” is your example? That means “take the money or suffer the consequences.” So by your own argument, they had two bad choices: accept the money, knowing people like you would later use it to discredit them and claim they weren’t really victims, or refuse it and face retaliation. So you’re describing coercion and just made the case that they were victimized twice.
It's called the silver or lead proposal and you'll likely never find a better example of one.
These are the kinds of shite arguments you have to make when you become a political fanboy.
Posted on 10/2/26 at 2:27 pm to northshorebamaman
Yet he claims it isn’t politicalized.

That's exactly what it was. Silver or lead. Either take the money, enjoy the perks of being a victim, or end up being hit by a frickin bus like Giuffre.
I'm not sure what you mean about "political fanboy" in this context, but what I spoke to is the very obvious reality of the frickin situation.
