The impromptu Biden presser last night seemed like a turning point

The entire event was essentially meant for him to accomplish 2 things: Make clear to voters that his documents case is different than Trumps, and to quash/show disdain for the narrative that he is incapable of governing due to cognitive decline.
And then he confuses Egypt with Mexico.
The media actually seemed to go after him on his mental acuity. If you listened to the questions being yelled that didn't get picked, they were all asking similar things about his mental health and voters' perception of it. IDK if that was directed by the DNC (probably was), but it seemed like a real shift.
Maybe at least some of the powers within the party are seriously pushing for Biden's ouster as the candidate. There has also been a lot of talk from election "experts" like Nate Silver and others today about Biden's prospects not being great because of his age and mental decline.
Anyone else think last night was a potential inflection point>?

I think it was a dog and pony show put on by compromised DC elites scared to death.
Or put on by White House idiots who can't read a room.

Last night was an inflection point but I think your conclusions are off…
I think their own side either engineered this to happen (results / presser) or took advantage of a confluence of events to start the ball rolling on replacing him.
We all figured it was going to happen but that was pretty goddamn fast. I had to go to a dinner for 6 last night and the last I heard was about the report… I get out at 8 and all hell has broken loose in the meantime because of that presser.

I was hoping the first question from Doocey was going to be “Mr. President, on what date did your son, Beau, die?”

It was watching Milli Vanilli coming out in their press conference telling everyone that they are really great singers. When you have to explain it, that you are really smart, well……… yikes

It was. I'd say he had more Dems jump off the ship and more moderates saying F this than ever. It was catastrophic. The next inflection point will be the enormous bump Dems get when they throw him overboard. That will be treated like the Second Coming.

“Yesterday, Milli of Milli Vanilli tried to commit suicide.
Actually, he paid someone to try and commit suicide for him.”

Yes but one made by the elites to switch their chances to a new puppet since Biden is unelectable and Niki Haley can't beat "none of these candidates". Enter the room the guy who killed California. Now they have to spend hundreds of millions to convince Americans he won't do to America what he did to California.

My guess.

The WH didn't have a choice. They had to send Biden out there to face the music. Special Council handed Trump a gift on a silver platter.

They didn’t say anything that America doesn’t already know. This was about taking attention away from Tucker Carlson’s interview with Putin.

You buy all of that?

His handlers and Obama knew this would happen. All part of the plan.
It was also planned for the media to turn on him. This is their way to move him out of the way so they can install the next dummy.

The way he made the first 5 minutes of that tantrum about Trump, is there now ANY doubt that the White House is orchestrating/coordinating these malicious prosecutions?
Sounds a bit like election interference to me.

Same here. If the deep state wanted him out and wished another candidate it would have been long before and they would not have waited this long. I don't think anyone would argue that the White House work force seems to be the keystone Cops of politics. Just dumb arse millennials running things on feelings and social media.

A very scripted and coordinated turning point.
Anyone who can't see this all playing out as the bread-and-circus movie it is, is still asleep and probably can't be awakened.
Gavin will begin his more publicly noticeable rise towards being the eventual Democrat selection now. Prepare thy anus.

The impromptu nature plus the timing both seem suspect. Biden can't read from a script so "they" let him lose in a room full of rabid reporters most of whom have been denied full access to him for most of his presidency. And the about face at the end esp. after he attempted to vindicate himself from the spec. counsel's charges. They know this is a man who is not quick on feet yet last night he was thrown to the wolves seemingly without a lifeline.
