Easy:
Link 1 = NYpost.com
Link 2 = Bloomberg.com
EVERYTHING from bloomberg is doom and gloom.. They are one of the left wing media who wants America to fail!

Sorta why they run the studies... Our docs seem hopeful; I'll say that.

The first piece if from Bloomberg. The second from NY Post. I would go to neither for medical news, but the latter contained this:
As a member of the B1G, there is a lot of smack talk with my SEC brothers and sisters. Regardless I respect their FB teams. Further that comment was from Vanderbilt Infectious Disease guy. You cannot disrespect that, wherever you reside.
Disclaimer: I understand clinical trials. I know this is not definitive proof. I do believe this is further evidence for compassionate use. Particularly if national stockpiles are utilized per HHS and FDA.
ETA: there is a poster here that I respect as well looking at monoclonal antibodies. They may well be another huge benefit. As someone with direct involvement in drug budget expenditures at hospital I have to look at cost as well as efficacy/toxicity. I hope we continue research on all fronts.

“It’s going to send a ripple of excitement out through the treating community,” Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert at Vanderbilt University, told the Times. But the findings offer strong support for prior studies suggesting a role for the medication, Schaffner added.

The article is behind a paywall, but Wall Street journal has a very glowing take on HCQ.

For my entire career, I have taken a conservative approach to medicine. I don’t want to give false or premature hope. All of this is subject to further refinement as more information arrives. But likewise I can’t ignore the available evidence. This appears to be the best widely available option for treating Covid-19 and not merely easing the suffering from the disease. It would be irresponsible not to pursue this option aggressively.

It is most effective if used before hospitalization. Hospitals won’t see much effect because it is too late.

Real doctors and real hospitals are treating with it.
Would they be doing that if it was all BS?

If all the naysayers had a family member in serious trouble with this Chinese virus, you better believe they would be wanting to use this or try anything.

If you want the best and least unbiased data, the two links (UpToDate and IDSA) do the best summaries.
You can basically ignore my anecdote and go straight to the links. My opinions are outdated and change daily. I'm too lazy to update it.
