It's understandable when they enter the fight. Michelle and obviously Hillary entered the fight.
From my memory:
Rosalynn Carter never entered the fight and was left alone.
Nancy Reagan entered the fight with a benign cause, "just say no". She was attacked.
Barbra Bush never entered the fight. She was pretty much left alone.
Hillary entered the fight. She started with healthcare...a major issue. She was attacked, hard.
Michelle entered the fight. "I am proud of America for the first time", other speeches and the benign school lunch program. She was attacked but not even close to Hillary.
Melania has her little toe in the fight with the Internet Bullying campaign. This is really a benign cause. Melania is attacked viciously.

Two separate media members yesterday claimed that Donald Trump might have been abusing his wife, based on absolutely nothing except the fact that we hadn't heard from her in a couple of days. What an absolute joke. Could you imagine if people said these type of things about Michelle Obama? The Liberals would throw a tantrum that would cause the Earth to stop spinning on its axis. This is such bullshite

Anyway, it's jealousy. She is a good person, in a position of relative power that doesn't oblige the media masses with lip service. She quietly goes about her business as FLOTUS with no desire for the spotlight, or approval from anyone outside her family circle. Why? because like many others with sense, she knows their inclusion in her life isn't significant to merit her attention.
