Holy fricking shite dude.
It's not 2017.

Lastly, if you think Stephen Miller isn’t on top of this
Stephen Miller is the reason why Trump admin vol. 2 has been a fricking disaster.

Hundreds of thousands of American tech workers have been laid off. You’re peddling bullshite if you think we “need” these workers.

Trump is catering to his donor class and throwing red meat to people who still watch Hannity and think Israel is a winning issue

Trump admin messed up bigly with the Hyundai raid. Trump has tried to distance himself from it. No accountability.

Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity have convinced them otherwise.

I have started describing this as the "America First" cohort in opposition to the "MAGA" cohort are just Trump fanboys and neocons.

Trumps "Braintrust" destroyed any hint of MAGA.

bookmarking this thread to jump into later and provide some experiences I’ve had/seen around H1B’s, but at first glance I agree with NIH and SFP’s take on the topic. goldennugget has been beating this drum for months.
It’s a problem, it’s a problem that shouldn’t be downplayed and one that will cause a rift in the MAGA contingency. H1B’s have to be haulted and drastically cut back immediately. I want to see this administration reverse course on its recent stance.
To me personally, this is as an important, if not more important issue, than the deportation of illegal immigrants effort.

Why does this seem to only be associated with Indians. Are Europeans or Asians not eligible for H1B ?

Corporations are targeting cheaper areas, so no. Maybe China.

clearly people still can’t understand Trump and his intentions so not sure what your point is. the amount of unnecessary panic over tweets and interviews is still strong on the right.
and if you don’t like Stephen Miller, then you don’t like America First. can’t help you there bud.

The workers have to want to come here. That's always the problem with Euros.
The educated class doesn't, for obvious reasons, and the lower class is the Eastern Euros who caused UK to do Brexit. The same thing would happen here.

quote:What is the scale of this? What are the actual numbers?
Either this is an economic zone that is a place where people from across the world can come to get benefits (H1B jobs, welfare, college) at the detriment of our job market, healthcare systems, housing market, and general infrastructure or this is a nation with traditions, cultural norms, and institutions worth preserving and putting support behind.

As a policy implementer he's bad at his job.

Translation “Don’t listen to his words, you just don’t get it.”
While in the same breath it’s “He uses social media to bypass the MSM and speak directly to the people!”
