I wonder if this Bible was put together by King James Only-ists who believe the KJV is the perfectly preserved word of God over and against all other translations.
ETA: I take that back. It was probably using the KJV because of royalty concerns. Other modern translations have copyrights that require royalties to be given for their use.

It's not just translations. Some books were completely thrown out before King James. They didn't meet the standards of The Bureau of the Word of God.

KJV is in the public domain with no copyright restrictions in the US. It means more profit to the seller without having to pay for licensing.
