The Federal Reserve is looking into developing a digital currency in the US

US central bankers have explored the possibility of developing a digital currency that would be directly available to businesses and households, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell confirmed to lawmakers this week.

A digital currency backed by the central bank in the largest economy would be unprecedented and raise a host of legal and operational questions. Powell said it would be closely considered by policymakers but added that the US could be in some ways better positioned than other countries that have looked into such a proposal.
"We are carefully monitoring the activities of other central banks to identify potential benefits that may be relevant in the U.S. context," he wrote. "To date, our observation is that many of the challenges they hope to address do not apply to the U.S."

This is it boys. This is the endgame for the DS’ consolidation of power.

It's already a digital world
numbers are numbers..
how many digits do you have in your bank accounts?
the cash gets moved later if it needs to be called...
banks can leverage 10 times what they have on hand in real currency...
why would they need anything else?

You wanna have your mind blown? That 10x leverage is an artificial number fed themselves made up. If they reduced the reserve requirement to let’s say 5% that would increase the money multiplier from 10 to 20 or in another words a 100% increase.

It's already digital. This just sounds like the Fed wants to control crypto currency

That’s when you read between the lines.

It is but the debt on those numbers is still settled in green backs...
Once the Fed develops a digital currency, there will eventually be no more cash, no more keeping cash on hand for emergencies (like when a hurricane comes through) and no more freedom...

We’re just going to place this chip in your right hand, or would you prefer the forehead for convenience.

I guess when hyperinflation hits the Fed will not have to fire up the printing press to flood the streets with dollars that we have to carry around in wheel barrels to buy a loaf of bread. But, we will just whip out our phone and transfer numbers to the seller instead of cash.

Wondering if ya'll watched Nova on PBS last night; "Violence"...Scientific analysis re the historical record through today.
Conclusion: Violence is lessened when Government is strongest, weapons are banned, wealth is equal and Government Programs support Love.
It's coming. The question is not if...but when. And the profound irony is that after all Prophecy is fulfilled...there will indeed be a very successful 'World Government', "ruled with a rod of iron". Go figure.
Fascinating. As long as the pain don't get unbearable.

It's weird... but I have infinitely more faith in satoshi than our fed reserve. Like it says in the genesis block, “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.”

Nothing but it was clear he didn’t understand how fractional reserve banking works so I talked him through it.

This must be why they worked so hard to deter Zuck and FB from launching their cryptocurrency...
They see it as direct competition and one they'd not have complete control over.
