The emphasis on pandering to Latinos will alienate black voters

Remember that as you watch them pander to Guatemalan and Honduran voters. Trump will pick up a growing surge of black voters and Dems will have no idea why it happened .

Not to mention the fact that a lot of Latinos see right through all the pandering. Culturally, like Asians, they also generally prefer strong leaders, not all your unbelievably effete , estrogen-overdosing candidates.

This is why the belief that the black vote is invincible is myopic. I'm not saying it's going to shift in the next election but it is absolutely going to shift because Democrats are about to sell their asses out

It doesn’t have to really shift . But there are a number of states where a 10% shift and/or people staying home would be catastrophic for the Dems.

Trump doesn’t need to win 15% or 20% of black vote, not that I believe that would ever happen.
He got 8% in 2016. If he gets 10% that’s amazing. He got 27% of Latino if he gets 30% with a 10% from blacks that will be hard to beat.

I’m not saying he wins the vote, numb nuts. I’m saying he peels off votes and dampens enthusiasm. And he will undoubtedly remind blacks that Dems have given them the third minority spot behind Latinos and gays. Blacks are back benchers now. He’ll exploit that reality.
