The EC was created to give states the voice, not the individual. We are a constitutional republic, not a direct democracy, as much as people don't like that fact.

team d were smart instead of pushing to amend the constitution, they'd be pushing voter registration in Madison, Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, etc.., in states they lost

Or they can leave fantasy land and get beck to tried and true old democrat position that were popular. Notice how winning republicans stay away from most wedge social issues. Another good step would be to marginalize the whackos that have filled to power vacuum post Clinton/Obama.

What are your thoughts on the EC? Not a flame. 100% curious of your POV.

i will make a deal with them

we can get rid of the electorial college system as long as no coastal states can ever again participate in the presidential election

no oregan, no new york, no california, no boarder states at all. only the heartland of america gets to decide who our president is.

You’re right. I’m just not so sure that the current policies, rhetoric, and results wouldn’t swing those states R any way

Question for all the Popular Vote supporters out there...

In the 1960 World Series, The Yankees outscored the Pirates 55-27. Who won the series?

-------------------------------------------

A president winning the election with less than 50% of the popular vote is nothing more than a mathematical curiosity. Period. It's the political equivalent to a shiny ball.
